Diana has been absolutely amazing with our dogs. We have had her in our dogs lives since they were 10 weeks old. Not only is Diana so good with the dogs, she trains them to be the very best. Boomer was 10 weeks old when Diana started with him. She taught him how to be a good dog and to follow so many commands. When Boomer first began with Diana we were unsure where he would be secondary to his unpredictable personality. Not only did Diana have the patience with Boomer, she allowed us to give him the skills that has turned him into an amazing dog that is predictable and we are able to engage him to be. Boomer is currently a therapy dog at a pediatric therapy clinic working with a variety of children and Diana helped foster the wonderful family dog and therapy dog he has become. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Diana and the love she has for dogs. She also is patient and kind and takes all the time that is necessary to treat clients and dogs how to carry over the skills necessary for training and engagement. We feel honored and lucky to have had Diana as a trainer. We continue to utilize Diana for check ins and trainings and it has been so helpful.

We had such great success with our first dog that we requested that Diana train and work on engagement with our new puppy. 2 weeks after training, the puppy was calm, sleeping at night, and super engaged with commands. We would be willing to follow Diana anywhere even across the country so we may be flying our dogs out for training in the near future because that is just how good she is. She is truly passionate and anyone can tell just how much she loves dogs and training dogs.

I enthusiastically recommend the training services of Diana Ozimek, Good Dog in the Making. As with all pet owners, we are especially careful with whom we entrust the care of our pets and I say with certainty that Diana will care for your pet as she would her own. She truly loves the dogs, and it shows. Her many years of experience make her very knowledgeable in the different exercises used in the training process, rewarding the dogs as she goes, as well as taking pictures and videos of the process when your dog is in her care. Diana will be missed in the Chicago area. In fact, we have two new puppies in our family (one has completed his puppy training with her) that I wish she could spend more time with! Her goal, as she states, is to teach your dog good manners and make them an impressive part of their community. She does just that!
